I’ve been writing the Jamie Brodie Mysteries since June 2012. Hard to believe! Jamie is (like me) an academic librarian. Not like me, he’s a gay man, a Rhodes Scholar, a rugby player, a son, brother, uncle…and boyfriend (eventually, husband). Jamie’s boyfriend (eventual husband) is psychology professor Pete Ferguson, and they share a townhouse in Santa Monica, CA.

The Jamie Brodie Mysteries, in order:

Cited to Death

Hoarded to Death

Burdened to Death

Researched to Death

Encountered to Death

Psyched to Death

Stacked to Death

Stoned to Death

Talked to Death

Avenged to Death

Played to Death

Filmed to Death

Trapped to Death

Promoted to Death

Dirty Laundry: Jamie Brodie Short Story Anthology

Published to Death

Thanks so much for reading!

  1. Morning!!! I was just rearranging my stories on my kindle into chronological order (in Jamie’s world & yours!) when I noticed on the Filmed to Death page that has listing of all the stories. With Encountered to Death, it says there’s a short story called “There Goes The Neighborhood”….um, on my Kindle I can’t find it.
    Am I being dense?

I can’t even recall this story or what happened.

    Help? lol

    But LOVE this series!!!

  2. Hey Abby, you’re not being dense! “There Goes the Neighborhood” is a story I wrote for the print version of Encountered to Death. I’m off to Scotland for a couple of weeks, but when I get back I’ll post it to the blog. (You’re not the only one who has asked!)
I’m so glad you’re enjoying the series!
